Environmental health focuses on the impact of the environment on human health, from the molecular to the ecological level, as well as how environmental factors caused by nature or humans affect health outcomes.

Epidemiology & Biostatistics

Epidemiology looks at the history and biological causes and effects of disease, disabilities, and death in humans. Biostatistics develops and applies statistical reasoning and methods in addressing, analyzing and solving health problems.

Health Management & Policy

Health management and policy analyzes issues of access, quality and affordability of healthcare; identifies best practices in the administration and management of public, private, and non-profit health care organizations; and helps formulate and implement health care policy and programs.

Health Promotion & Behavior

Health promotion and disease prevention are key concepts in public health and provide the foundation for community participation as well as health behavior change.
